Through its affiliate MetalPro SRL, Ideal Group holds a fully permitted 675-hectare Mining Administrative Contract in Bolivia's Precambrian shield — including the historic Puquio Norte stockpiles and active gold and platinum group metal exploration.
The El Quizer concession is a fully permitted 675-hectare mining contract in the Municipality of San Ramón, Santa Cruz Department, Bolivia — located approximately 3.5 hours from Santa Cruz de la Sierra via paved and gravel road. The concession is held by MetalPro SRL (Metalurgia y Procesos S.R.L.) and includes all major environmental, mining, and export registrations.
Within El Quizer lies one of the most significant unprocessed legacy assets in the region: over 4 million tons of gold-bearing stockpiles left by COMSUR's Puquio Norte Mine, which produced more than 300,000 ounces of gold between 1997 and 2002 from saprolite ore alone. These stockpiles carry an average grade of 1.25 grams of gold per ton — and recent XRF analysis has also confirmed the presence of Platinum Group Metals (PGMs), including Iridium, the rarest and most corrosion-resistant of all PGMs.
Between 1996 and 2001, COMSUR (Compañía Minera del Sur) operated the Puquio Norte Mine with a 2,000 metric ton per day concentrator plant. In just five years, the saprolite ore zone alone produced over 300,000 ounces of gold. Operations ceased not from resource depletion, but due to acidic water accumulation in the pit from sulfide zones below — leaving the deeper primary ore and the substantial stockpile untouched and available.
The Bolivian Precambrian shield is larger than Canada's Abitibi greenstone belt — one of the world's richest gold belts — yet has produced less than 10 million ounces of gold compared to Abitibi's 170+ million ounces from over 100 mines. Gold mineralization at El Quizer is orogenic greenstone type, similar to world-class deposits found in the San Ramón Gold Field, where alluvial gold has been mined since 1850 and nuggets up to 150g have been recovered. Five kilometers along strike, parallel shear zones average 5–15 g/t gold.
The most immediate value driver within El Quizer is the 4+ million ton stockpile left by COMSUR's Puquio Norte operations. These stockpiles were deposited because the original mine was a medium-sized operation — the material was economically marginal at the time but is now viable with modern processing technology. At an average grade of 1.25 grams per ton of gold, these stockpiles represent a substantial, shovel-ready resource that requires no new drilling to validate.
XRF cupellation analysis of El Quizer pellet samples has confirmed the presence of Platinum Group Metals (PGMs) — including Iridium, the rarest and most corrosion-resistant metal in the PGM family. Historical British Geological Survey records from the 1980s also noted Iridium traces in nuggets recovered from the San Ramón gold field. PGMs add a significant layer of value to the El Quizer concession beyond gold alone, and their recovery potential is being assessed as part of the broader metallurgical program.
